How to Work Up to 30 Minutes on Your Bowflex TreadClimber
You've purchased your Bowflex TreadClimber and you get on it for the first time thinking, “It's just walking, I've got this.” Only to find out that you couldn't do the full 30 minutes. Don't worry, you're not alone!
Repeat after me: "Everyone was a beginner at some point."
That goes for me, too. Even though I now participate in long-distance endurance events, I can still remember when short workouts were difficult and challenging. Yes, it took time to increase my endurance. It didn't happen overnight, or even in a few weeks.
One of the keys to exercise is to do what you can, then build up gradually. There is no workout that is too short. Your very first session on the Bowflex TreadClimber might be several minutes (notice I didn't say "just" several minutes) before you are finished — That is perfectly fine. What matters most is that you are consistent with your workouts, not how long they are. If you are challenging your body you are changing your body.
