Stronger Every Day: Austin Workout
To kick off the evening with our influencer team, we decided to break the ice with a fun, interactive workout hosted by BowFlex Fitness Advisor Tom Holland. While the rest of the Stronger Every Day team helped prep the house for dinner, Tom took the influencer team for a circuit workout in Rosewood Park where influencers had the opportunity to meet one another, talk about what inspires them to be their fittest selves, and share some of their favorite workouts with one another.
The goal was to work together in order to create a workout that could be achieved by anyone, whether indoor or outdoor, that did not require any equipment. We wanted to demonstrate that individuals are still able to get a great workout in, even outside of a gym environment.
As a group, we ended up putting together an intricate, full-body circuit workout that can be scaled up or down for various fitness levels.
For this circuit workout, we had each of our influencers pick a couple of their favorite body-weight workouts to perform as a group. Utilize the list below or create your own based on some of your favorite bodyweight exercises! Whether you gather a group of friends and make it up on the fly, or pre-plan a list, circuit workouts are always an effective way to combine cardio and strength when time is of the essence.
Time-Saving Circuit Workout
Duration: Entirely customizable. Aim for 30-45 seconds per exercise. Repeat the list 1-5 times depending on skill level for a great strength and cardiovascular workout that can be achieved from nearly anywhere.
- High Knees
- Squat Jumps
- Front Lunges
- Jumping Jacks
- Alternating Lunge Jumps
- Walking Lunges
- Reverse Superman Crunches
- Box Jumps or Step Ups
- Wall Sits
- Air Jump Rope
