Should You Work Out When You're Sick?
Hi, I'm Tom Holland, BowFlex Fitness Adviser.
Should you work out when you're sick?
First and foremost it's always better to rest and recover rather than delay and work out and get sicker, right?
So take a day off, take two days off come back.
Now if you're just feeling a little bit under the weather, of course you can get something in. Do a core workout, do a much easier strength workout or cardio workout. So just go easy, do something, even stretch. So you don't have to go hard, you don't have to go long. If you're feeling a little bit under the weather, do something.
And there you have it. Should you work out when you're sick.
