By Guest Blogger Jessica Castaneda

When it comes to eating clean while managing work and family, the easier the better! But easier doesn't have to mean tasteless. You still want your food to be delicious so your entire family can enjoy a healthy meal with you. Well this egg roll in a bowl recipe hits all of the marks — it's healthy, delicious and extremely easy and quick to make!

If you love egg rolls — who doesn't?! — this tastes just like the filling of an egg roll, but with clean ingredients. It's perfect for those days you're craving Chinese food, but would rather avoid all of the deep fried sodium!

This is a great recipe for meal prep or for freezing.

  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp. Braggs Liquid Aminos
  • 2 tsp. rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Cook the ground turkey until done and remove from pan, leaving the fat.
  2. Add onions and garlic to the pan and sauté until nearly cooked through.
  3. Add the cabbage and shredded carrots (or coleslaw mix) and continue to cook about 15 minutes.
  4. Mix in cooked ground turkey.
  5. Add the Braggs Liquid Aminos and rice vinegar.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Simmer for about 7 minutes.
  8. Enjoy!

Tip: You can use a frozen coleslaw mix for the cabbage/carrots mix instead of chopping them up yourself.
