Motivation ALONE Leads to Failure!
If you must be motivated to reach your goal, then you will fail. What? I know that this sounds crazy, but just think about the last time you were super motivated to get fit again. What happened the day you woke up and you were no longer motivated to put in the work necessary to reach that goal?
Like most people, you likely decided to forego the gym for "that day" and never returned. So what is it that gets folks to keep going? Commitment! Motivation is fleeting. It comes and goes. When you are committed to the process, you will continue to do the work necessary to reach your goals even when you're not motivated.
Motivation sparks action. Commitment sustains it.
