It doesn’t matter whether you are male or female, everyone wants to have great-looking legs. It’s not just about vanity, either: When we do leg exercises we improve their appearance, build strength and help prevent injury, all at the same time. The trifecta!

You don’t need a lot of gym equipment to effectively work out your legs, either. In fact, some of the most effective and functional lower-body exercises involve bodyweight movements with a pair of dumbbells like the Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells.

You can perform an infinite number of lower-body exercises in the privacy of your own home using a pair of dumbbells. These workouts don’t need to be long sessions, either - Spending 10-20 minutes a few times a week doing targeted leg exercises can bring about big results.
