The Four-Minute New Year Resolution Workout

The New Year is here and so are the resolutions. But while we gear up for our exercise sessions, remember that there's nothing “magical” about exercising for 30-60 minutes. What matters is the quality, intensity and consistency of your exercise sessions. Shorter bouts of exercise done throughout the day is just as effective as one longer session. Also, a shorter workout can help you stay more consistent with your workouts, and consistency is what leads to success!

That being said, here is a great four-minute workout to jumpstart your New Year exercise habit:

The exercises included in this workout video are:

  1. Burpees
  2. Pop Squats
  3. Push-ups
  4. Plank
  5. Bicycle Crunches
  6. Jumping Jacks

Want to make this workout into a great 30-day January challenge? Do four minutes every day for one week, then do two rounds in week two for a total of eight minutes per day, do three rounds week three and four rounds for week number four.
